Hi MFP,
How do you not get frustrated when you do not lose weight. What makes you want to keep trying & reaching your weight goal. How do you keep going despite not seeing changes & how do you not quit!!!
Thank you

I've been round long enough to realise that changes take time. So, I don't get upset if I don't see a change for a few weeks.
How long have yo been trying to lose the weight and for how long have you failed to see results?0 -
Well if no trend down in weight, I might be irritated at the scale for a moment, may even take it out on the scale or the next person I see.
But then when I calm down and hit reality, I start reassessing and asking myself? Could I be doing things wrong.
I then make a list of what I am doing now verses the beginning and I make a list such as 1) how long has it been since I started the deficit 2) am I logging my food using a food scale correctly and honestly 3) have I possibly been eating back too many over inflated exercise burns 4) Is it my TOM 5) Have I consumed a lot of carbs not normally 6) Is my sodium high in my diet higher than normal (as 4, 5 and 6) all cause water retention and affect the scale weight.
Then I take measurements and pictures and then do it again in a month. After changing anything from 1-6.0 -

The past 2 months been trying to lose weight. The past 2 months have failed to see results
You have been on MFP two months? Two months is a really long time to try and loose weight with absolutely nothing to show on the scale.
This means that you are not logging food correctly (not using a food scale), eating back too many exercise calories, could have MFP settings set up wrong, etc...
Use flow chart. to get it to work, use the food scale if you are not alreay.

I've been on here for a tad over 50 days, and for the first month-ish I saw very little change, like maybe 1-2 lbs. But then it suddenly caught up with me, and now I'm about 13 lbs down and still going strong. Hang in there!
