This sounds perfect. I need to lose quite a bit to get under 200, but if I lose around 10 lbs a month, then by Jan 1st, I may make it. I'm 296, so it'll be pretty close.0

I'm 57 and need to drop 65 lbs to hit 200. For me, determination is the hardest thing to keep going with both controlling my eating and exercise. I want to lose the weight to feel better, especially in my joints. I also want to eat whatever I want! I need to find that 1 thought that will keep me motivated to making the sacrifices that are necessary for the long haul. Everyday is a new day for a new chance to succeed.0

I would like to participate in this challenge. 51 lbs is a little faster than I planned on losing which is 1lbs a week (or 43 lbs in the remaining year), but it's not too far off that I can't do it. It just means losing 2 lbs a week for a few weeks which will be easy to do starting out.
So are we doing weekly weigh-ins?0 -

I really want to hit 200# this year. To do that, I'll have to lose 1 1/2# or 2# every week for the rest of the year. I'm going to give it my best effort. Hopefully, I keep following my trend of losing more in summer.0

Hi Everyone! I love this idea and would love to join this challenge. I was around 203 last May but then I got pregnant and ended up gaining a bit (I saw 247 on the scale at one point). I am 1 month postpartum and I'm 26lbs away from 199!! Good luck everyone!!!0

This was my goal last year. 280 pounds in December of 2014, and my goal was under 200 by 2016. Got down to 195 in November than went into Maintence to recomp and have stayed that weight so far. You can do it just keep your eye on your goal and you will reach it before you know it!0
