    morning...

    this mornings weigh in goes to show how the scale can go up and down on any given day. i always put what it says on tuesday morings. ( i have a problem about that). yesterday it was down. but, it just proves that no matter what your body is going to do what it wants to do. i know i am holding water right now. it could be the heat, the salt intake, the 2 trips to the gym. it could be anything. i am not worried or upset by this it's life and i go on and i feel good, my clothes fit the same. it's just a number on the scale. this is something i have to learn to accept and move on.

    i hope everyone has a great weigh in day.

    Good morning!

    Cathy...I'm with you today! Up 2 pounds since last Tuesday which kind of bums me out since I've been working really hard this week. But I also always put what my weight is on Tuesday, even if I am down on another day. Oh well...I'm sure I can lose some by next week, and I am still down from my starting weight!

    Mini victory...I bought size EIGHT shorts!!!! I literally was jumping up and down in the dressing room when they fit!! Bought three different pairs!!! This is HUGE for me since I was in 10s even before I was pregnant...so I havent' seen this size for a VERY VERY long time!! WOO!! Also...I'm at 155 which was one of my mini goals...my reward is the JM Ab video which I may purchase this evening! Can't wait to have another one of her workouts to add to my repitoire!! YAY!

    Goals for this week...
    1. No over eating. I had one mis-hap last week, and I want to avoid that this week!
    2. No going overboard on popcorn at work. Great snack since it's low of calories...but doesn't mean I can eat a ton!


    Started week 4 of the Ripped in 30 last night! It's exciting to have made it this far!

    Plan today:
    Food--
    B-Crunchy Nut cereal, skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, cereal bar
    L-Mixed green salad, cucumber, baby tomatos, spritzer dressing, light yogurt
    S-Pear
    D-Tilapia with veggies and probably some brown rice
    S-FF Blueberries and cream frozen yogurt (my new addiction)

    Exercise--
    JM Ripped in 30-week 4
    Run outside (2.5 miles)

    Down 2 lbs this week!!! I'll take anything I can get.

    Mom, my goal for you is to only weigh yourself 2 times a week, not everday. I know this is a struggle for you, but then you won't get as dicurraged(sp) when you see the weight keep going up and down.

    Come on peeps, lets get the weight off!!!! I'm ready, vacation is next month and I want to feel great when we go, and look good in all the pictures! :)

    yea kisten and shanell. i am not discouraged. i am jeolous of your weight loss. your are looking so good. but you are also years younger than me and more active. i have concluded that i am happy. i am who i am and i am not going to go insane thinking about this weight. it will come off when it comes off. dad and i have decided we are old and happy. life isn't about giving up things you enjoy. we aren't going to do that anymore.

    off to get the tennis racket to start playing when it gets cooler

    Oh goodness. I didn't realize I was 3 weeks behind! Oops!

    Okay. So I have a hard time tracking my food. Say...I make a taco. I find it hard to know log on and do however much meat, then the lettuce, the tomato etc etc. I know that sounds pathetic but with my little one, I don't have time to log EVERY.SINGLE.THING. Am I just doing it wrong? Is there an easier way?

    Once you have things in that you've eaten before, just look under the "recent" tab or "most used" and then just check the items you used. Or you can make your recipes (I do this a lot). Create a recipe..add your taco shell, taco meat, lettuce, tom, cheese, whatever...then save it. Next time you eat it just look under your recipes, then add it to your diary. Works pretty well. I know what you mean about having little time with a little one...I have the same issue. This seems to help.

    Congrats to everyone so far this week! I'm really glad to have all of you as support, even though I don't get to post as often as I would like. :)

    So I am amazed that I was down this morning! And really happy. Like everyone seems to have posted, I too weigh everyday, but only record the weight on Tuesdays. I was up a pound as of last night (from last Tuesday) and this morning I was down. I was so excited!

    I see that a lot of you do the various JM programs. How do you like them? I am considering something like that, but worry because I have knee problems sometimes.

    My goal for this week is to actually do 30 minutes of hard core cardio 3 times. I always tell myself I am going to do it, but never get around to it. I need to get myself motivated! :)

    Good Morning...am bummed to be the one to break the LOSING streak! Good news is that I am down 1.1 from yesterday! Was so beautiful here last night that I talked my husband into taking a walk with me (I had exercised in the morning)...then I did a cycle class this morning. Feels good to be back in the exercise groove...

    Man! Had a rough day today at work. Glad it went by fast. Cannot wait till vacation!!!!

    Trying to figure out what to do for dinner. I keep wanting to do a dinner menu, but never do it. Hoping it will cool down a little, cause DD is wanting to go for a walk tonight. She loves to go for walks, thanks MOM! Maybe it will help my mood. Real grumpy and tired.

    Julie- good job! I want to try a cycling class, but not sure about those seats. I have a wide rear and those things are so little, LOL.

    Kim- great job also! It is hard to stay motivated. My motivation comes from my hubby. He is actually helping me a great bit and has lost a lot of weight too. But now it is too much, :)
