If you're determined to go low carb then Google will be your friend ...there's millions of recipes and food plans

There's also a group you can join om MFP

Personally I find low carb too restrictive and it makes me yo yo

Perhaps re-post your question in the main low-carber forum group (or check out their launch pad / sticky note area which has tons of links to websites dedicated to LCHF recipes):

There's also a LCHF recipe group:

I am so new to this site that I'm not even sure how to join this group, but I know it is where I should be! Whenever I cut way down on carbs my aches and pains go away and the weight begins to fall off. But how do you go about making a permanent change to this kind of life style after being a carb hound all your adult life!?

The same thing happened to me. I talked to my doctor about it a couple of months after starting Keto and was informed by her that both carbs and sugars are known to exacerbate any inflammation issues you currently have going on in your body so by reducing carbs and sugars, you thereby also lessen the aggravation.

Not to be flippant here, but the answer is slowly. Every time you use up a product that you don't want to keep buying and eating, replace it with a better / healthier version. It is also extremely helpful to stop thinking of any given way of eating as a "DIET" and instead look at it as a "Lifestyle change."

Happy for you to check out my food diary - it's public. I've been doing LCHF since May 2014 and have lost 33kg so far. As many have said.. there are heaps of lo-carb recipes and info out there.... and it's a life-style. Hope it goes well.
