I Lost 40 lbs last year and have successfully kept it off for many months. Would like to lose another 40-50 lbs but am having a really hard time losing this weight. I'm glad I've been able to maintain it within a few pounds here and there (fluctuates of course)
Weekends are hard to stick to it and I'm wondering how I lost it in the beginning! It was easier the first 40 I was able to still have a cheat day once a week and didn't work out as much and still lost weight, now that doesn't happen and it is much harder.
I do really well for a week working out each day and then something happens to derail me! I need to get re-motivated and to stick to this because I want to meet my goal! I really want to meet my goal it is so important to me but I feel so discouraged when I do well for a week and still so not much of a result.
I'm going to cut out drinking except for 1 day a week for a month and see if that helps too and really try to stay focused on adding in exercise.
Any tips on this? Friendly and helpful is appreciated.
What are the best workouts for burning a lot of calories in 30 minutes?

Hi! Congrats on your amazing weight loss
Week-Ends are super hard for me too. I'm a real foodie and I love a good glass of wine, but i'm on 1400 calories so ...it goes up quickly! I stick with but it's tough.
It's normal that the weight takes more time to go when you have less to eat. Try to focus on eating whole foods that fill you up (lean protein, fibre, healthy fats).
As for exercise, I try to walk a lot more and I do spinning once a week for now (was complety sedentary before, i'm at the beggining of my journey). Have 47 to loose. Walking more is a great way to burn calories without too much effort. I use to do cardio boxe training...they were INSANE. You burn so much calories with that!
Did you recalculate your calories according to your weight loss? You can inbox me if you want, i added you.

Congratulations on your previous loss. I lost 50lbs last year, and have started again and understand your struggle. Here are a couple of tips.
Make weekly goals. Something you can check off on throughout the week to keep you focused. Make sure you find at least 3.
Drink plenty of water. There are water drinking apps that help remind you and also set up how much you need to drink based on your weight. It really does help.
Don't drink at ALL with your meals. This one was a tough one, but seems to make a difference in how much I eat. When eating a meal the foods fill up the top part of your stomach quickly. Drinking fluids washes it down to the bottom of your stomach so the top has room for more. It also takes 20 minutes for your brain to recognize if your stomach is full. If you still don't feel sated then have a healthier snack. I set out a yogurt or some other form of protein for later and then I walk away from it to do other things. I generally forget it's there and one of the children eat it... .
Find motivational friends. It helps to have people on your team who have the same goals as you do, or are seeking to lose the same amount of weight as you.
Best of luck to you!0 -

I am going to try to do some sort of exercise in the morning either 30 Day Shred or Zumba and then also take the dog for a walk in the afternoon next week since it will be warmer out and maybe that will help boost me. I eat 1470 a day and I try to eat filling healthy meals. I am always conscious that what I'm eating will keep me full for awhile and keep me satiated. The weekends are tough for me so I really need to work on that and stop allowing myself to let the weekends be a free-bee.0 -

Thank you for your tips! I have been trying to increase water intake as well and do have some great motivational friends that I am close with who share my goals thankfully so that is great support.0
