Best sweetener - HELP me lest I crash and burn!

There is one thing I always looked forward to each day, and that was my morning coffee. I love my morning coffee, whether i'm having eggs, egg whites, oatmeal with NO sugar, ect...
Its all about the coffee. That being said, I enjoy sugar and cream in my coffee. But when I started at MFP I started measuring quantities of cream and sugar according to calories, not taste. I have NOT enjoyed a cup of coffee since Feb 10th. I already use 2 measured tsp sugar and 2 measured tbsp cream so my coffee is 62 calories. But it's horrible. I estimate I was probably using 4 tsp sugar and 3-4 tbsp cream before that. (my coffee cup is big BTW not 1 cup).
I don't want to use artificial chemical sweeteners, honey and maple syrup too many calories, I don't like agave aftertaste. Any suggestions?? If not, I may cut calories from another part of the day to have that one food I enjoy.

You don't want artificial sweeteners, and you don't want honey or agave..etc. you pretty much canceled everything out but sugar. Just make room for it cause that's all that's left after you mentioned what you didn't want lol

I use splenda, even though I typically hate sweeteners. Splenda is waaay better than aspartame or saccharine. I used to use a ton of international delight sweet cream creamer, but now I use better beans with 2 tsp of splenda, no cream. I like it better that way now.

Walden farms pancake syrup is my go to for coffee sweetener, however it is based on splenda. Either way sounds like you should probably make room for sugar

Try Bulletproof coffee, and use Stevia if needed.

Just drink the coffee like it's brewed. I crave black coffee now and I used to be the loudest protester that it had to be sweet and creamy. No calories and better than you think!

Try monk fruit sweetener ... it seems to not have the after taste of other sweeteners (in my opinion). I will often do half sugar and half monk fruit. I also used a natural sweetener called SugaVida. It is in my local HEB grocery store and available online as well. I will sometimes mix that with sugar and/or monk fruit. It tastes great and is best for coffee because of its caramel-like back flavor.

As the others have said though, make room in your calories if your coffee "experience" is important to you :)

Cut calories somewhere else if you love your sweet creamy coffee this much.

Stevia is great! They have drops or a powdered kind. It's great. No calories, no glycemic, and it's natural.

Stevie drops...some brands are better then others but the bitter after taste is usually always there. Instead of cream how about milk or a little protein drink (I use the already made protien drink so it mixes well) I add cinnamon and a little almond milk to mine. But honestly if you enjoy it then go for it!

I used to use heaping spoonfuls of sugar in my coffee everyday. I tried the imitation sweeteners and for me I found Stevia in the Raw is the best. Once I figured out it is not an equal exchange meaning, 1 spoonful of stevia is WAYYYYYY more potent than sugar. I used to add 2 large teaspoons in my coffee, now I use half a teaspoon of the stevia.

I drink my coffee with cream/milk and sugar. I've tried sugar alternatives and hated them all (even stevia). So, I still drink my coffee with cream and sugar. :) I just drink only drink a cup or two a day and fit it in my calories. Over time, I've also managed to decrease the amount of cream and sugar (just decrease the amounts slightly every once and awhile). I used to put in 1-2 tbsp of sugar and now I'm down to 1 tsp. I'll also use soymilk instead of creamer sometimes, which is lower in calories. I also stay away from strong/dark roasts as I have to add more stuff to it to make it palatable. When I make coffee for my husband and I, I make it strong for him as he prefers jet fuel, then water down my cup before adding anything else.

Imo, just make room for it and enjoy it! 6tbpsn of creamer is 180, plus 4tsp sugar...64.....244 total. Its really not that bad. And if you find it hard to fit in...try reducing the size of your cup, or slowly reducing the amount of creamer you use.

Personally....nothing is going to pry my coconut cream coffemate liquid creamer out of my hands! I make room for it and enjoy every drop!

I don't care for most of the artificial sweeteners, and strongly dislike stevia (ick), some due to aftertaste and some just taste nasty to me (stevia again). But my husband suggested trying a sweetener based on cyclamates, and it's been a life saver during this weight loss journey. It's delicious. But, you can't buy it in the U.S., I order mine from the U.K. It was banned in the U.S. decades ago based on a study linking it to cancer, but the study has long since been completely debunked. It is readily available in other countries. Do some reading and reach your own conclusions.

My coffee is best with 3tsp sugar = 48 cals, and 3 tbsp cream = 45 cals, total =93 calories.
But today im already over my calories because this is my rest day, no work out. I had 2 eggs and low cal bread and coffee in the morning, soup at lunch with avocado, and a burger for dinner plus a snack (chopped apple/raisins/nuts. honey/cinnamon) Over calories but i don't feel like I overate. I'm eating 1600 daily calories, to lose 0.5 week and i'm finding it difficult.

We don't have monk fruit here, otherwise I would definitely try it.
I have a full unopened jar of Stevia in my pantry that I haven't had the nerve to try yet because of all the negative aftertaste reviews I've heard about it... Although I have read the liquid Stevia is better, which once again is not available in Aus.
I just got used to having my tea with no sugar, rather than the 3tsp I used to add to every cup (8 cups a day usually). Milk however is something I wont ever give up adding.

I use 4tsp of sugar and 4tbsp of sweetened flavored creamer. It's a 200 calorie 20oz cup of coffee. But that's the only way I'll drink it. So I either do without or make it fit.

Most grocery stores in the US now have Monk Fruit sweetener in the bags and packets ... the kind I buy is in an orange box and made by the "In the Raw" brand. Of course, I cannot say enough about this sweetener either: sugavida.com/ It is expensive but I love the taste and limit it to only coffee. I ordered it on Amazon but then my local HEB store now carries it too. It has a caramel-like back flavor.

I also started using both the Silk brand almond creamers and the So Delicious coconut creamers - yummy and has fewer unrecognizable ingredients.
