I was burned very badly in 1957. Most of the scars are covered by clothes, but my left arm is the worst. As I have gotten older the scar has started tearing. It is very painful and takes forever to heal when it cracks. About a month ago a friend noticed and recommended coconut oil. I have been using it ever since and it seems to be making a difference. Less cracking and tearing and my skin is getting smoother.
Oh yeah, I rub it on my bald head every morning after I shave. Wife says it is much smoother.0
