Calorie deficit, adequate protein, progressive resistance training, possibly some cardio, time.

High protein, low carb and minimal calorie intake. I suggest a lot of salmon, tuna broccoli and asparagus and a lot of cardio. Keep the reps high and the weight low to prevent any atrophy. Good luck :)

@myheartsabattleground Cutting is a term used in bodybuilding that means a person is trying to lose fat and keep their muscle. It differs from saying someone is trying to lose weight in that the person is specifically trying to lose only fat.

I think she's joking, and is talking about self harm cutting, and not the gym type cutting..

How about cutting carbs? I've heard you shouldn't go too low or it can cause health issues, yet it's supposedly essential.

I know, but they weren't very specific. ALSO, someone may google "cutting" and come across the phone number. You never know :)

Cutting back on carbs is an easy way to reduce overall calories. It's not absolutely necessary for fat loss and cutting them down really far can hamper gym performance.

Cutting, as far as self harm goes, is not a cry for help or an attempt at suicide.

Okay I see. So pretty much supply yourself with enough carbs to provide the energy you need for your workout/day.

    1. Get adequate protein.
    2. Get adequate fat.
    3. Spend the rest of your calories on whatever macros makes you happy.
