Anyone else in a food rut??

I haven't been eating very well lately because I have gotten bored eating the same things and it makes me not really hungry.. What are some of the best resources to find quick, healthy recipes?

You can look at my food diary, if you want. I eat pretty much the same stuff everyday, however I get pretty creative with my dinners.

I found myself making the same three dinners over and over. The solution for me was weekly dinner themes like "Meatless Monday", "Taco Tuesday" and "Freaky Friday". It has provided my meal plan with structure so I can still eat all my favorites, and try out something new now and then, but not too often. I rotate my dinners so that some turn up more often and some just once every 12 weeks.

If you want specific recipes, go to http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/recipes or google ingredients+recipe.

Different seasoning combos can switch up a food. Ha i think thats how i can eat some vegetables as often as i do. Pinterest is also a good source for recipes. I found zucchini pasta there.

I eat the same weird cutting foods over and over even though I'm bulking. I am in a rut. I'm saving too many calories for dessert and am worried I'm not eating enough nutrient dense foods. I get anxious about trying new things because I hate making recipes in the app, but I know that's a dumb excuse. I'm following the thread for some ideas too.

Go to the library or the book store and get a different ethnic cookbook. Try a bunch of recipes-maybe one or two a week. I've done that before with a Greek cookbook and an Indian cookbook. It was fun.
