So my coworker and I (both not runners...at all) are starting the couch 2 5k plan this Sunday to work our way up for a 5k to benefit the MSPCA ( were vet techs) in May. Anyone here ever try this plan? Anyone have any tips for someone new to jogging/running?! I am nervous/excited to start and hope I don't fail!

I'm also new to running but I'm going for a half marathon by December. Im using the run trainer app to go from couch to half marathon and so far it's been good. I looked through the whole plan and it seems like it will work well.

You can do it! I started out walking/running a while back and now I am up to (mostly) running 8 miles and I weigh 240 pounds. Just listen to your body. It takes time for your joints to adjust to the impact of running. Don't too much, too soon. Just try to stick with the program. Add me if you want! I love running!
