Yea - that was the only thing I changed in my diet last summer and I lost about 2-3 pounds a week. Don't eat anything after 6 pm except blueberries and green tea. Sounds strange but it works.

What works is being in a caloric deficit.

Good thing I don't gain weight from drinking coffee with cream and sugar.

for you tea, for me a nice glass of Cabernet.

Soy is also a bad choice because of the hormones and potential cancer risk.

Sorry, but... if you're that worried about hormones and cancer risks, you'll be better off without dairy than soy. In soy there are plant derived phytoestrogens that generally don't affect humans, unlike the hormones in dairy.

I don't mean to be rude but soy really isn't bad for you.
