New here and was wondering of there was any way to change the measuring options when entering your food serving/amount in your diary? Thank you in advanced for any feedback.

Each listing has pre determined measurements. Sometimes cups, oz or grams... if the measurement you need is not there look for another entry.
It helps to type.....green beans grams or green beans oz to get the right entry.
Remember that everything in the database is user entered....so they can be wrong. Its best to check against the package or to use the USDA entry for raw produce and meats.....type chicken breast boneless skinless USDA....or whatever your eating (just add USDA to the search).
Also, with meat...make sure you are using a raw entry if you weigh it raw and a cooked entry if you weigh it cooked. Raw is best because "6oz cooked chicken breast" entered into the database by a user, could be boiled, marinated, or cooked in butter....you dont know how it was prepared so you dont know if the calorie count will be accurate for your meal.0 -
Thank you. I never thought to enter the measurement in my search. Very helpful.0
