I'm kinda weak right now...my 1 rep max is only 120 and normally do 3 sets of 8 reps around 75 pounds. I'd like to bench a minimum of what I weigh at my 1 RM, but I'm workin' on it. I currently weigh 138.0

I'm curently trying to get better in that area. I do 3 sets of 6 at 225lbs now, and I weigh 306 so I have a lot of catching up to do to get to where I can rep atleast as much as I weigh0

I weigh 190 and have no idea what I bench. lol If I had to guess, I'd say I could do ONE rep at like 50 if my life depended on it. And this is an estimate based on the fact that my dog weighs 50 lbs. :laugh:0

I can bench press 70 pounds a few times but I don't know what my max is. I've never tried. I'd say MAYBE 100, if that. I'd also love to be able to bench what I weigh, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. I weigh 129 lbs.0

no but seriously i haven't maxed out in bench press since high school which was 10 years ago when i was a young buck i maxed out at 305lbs
Now i usually finish my sets with 8 to 10 reps of 235lbs I weigh 195lbs.0 -

results in signature, lol.
should be able to get 90kg quite comfortably for 2...but havnt tested it yet0 -

I haven't maxed out since I was in my early 40's(I'm 51 now). I maxed out at about 350 then. I'd be lucky to hit 200 now.0

I hit failure at 70 lbs last week (doing 5x5....got out two sets of five, one set of two, and two sets of one). I weigh 140. To defend such a low weight, I hadn't touched a barbell in my life until about a month and a half ago.
Then I learned I was flaring my elbows out too much. Ugh.
Not sure what my max is, though.0 -
PB is 106kg at 74kg BW.
Right now. Umm SFA. Injured. Can overhead press still though (which I prefer).0 -
i actually did bench today and did 1 set of 10 reps at 55, then 1 set of 10 reps at 60, then finished with 3 sets of 10 reps at 65. in about march i maxed at 90lbs. i have week shoulders so i struggle a bit but yeah. i weight about 150 and will NEVER be able to bench that lol...0

When i was in High School i broke Darren Sproles Bench press record i weighed 143 lbs and bench pressed 315 lbs. That was 3 years ago and havent worked out since then. Just started getting back into it and lifted yesterday for the first time since then and maxed out at 225. How long do you think until i get back to the 300's?0

Being that fresh out of HS and assuming you train hard and eat smart, 3-4 months only. And nice bench PR.0 -
Haven't maxed out in a couple of years. My max back then was 250, and I weighed in at 180.0

I almost never BB bench.. was repping out 225 for sets of 8.. not sure what my max would be. probably not much tho.. only ever done bb like 10 times *_*0

around 275 for 3-4 times at 170lbs... I dont usually bench anymore, just dumbells !!!0

Current bench is about 120 lbs x1 or 90 x 8 if I'm fresh in my workout. Usually I wait to bench until the middle or end of the workout, and I usually can only do about 70x8 by then. I'm 5'8" and about 180 lbs now. I'd love to be able to bench my body weight.0

Max 1~2 reps 95kg (209lbs) and weight ~69kg (152lbs).0
