Lazy and actually quite apprehensive

Hi there I am not a total newbie, I have started a new account though as I need a new start. Imagine that I am standing awkwardly in a community centre...Hi, my name is LazyJedimaster and I am lazy (and scared of changing my lifestyle to the extent that I remain fat).
I need to change, I do know this. Is anyone else actually quite scared?

I think everyone is..Scared that you will set goals but never reach them, tell fam/friends that you are making a change & not doing it in the amount of time they seem to think.

The only thing that scares me is falling back into my "old lifestyle". The knew one is intimidating, but possible. I have never added anyone on here to be friends with but you seem pretty cool. What do you say, want to work on this together?

is it scary to eat better and log you food accurately today? most likely not. fear paralyzes us. keeps us from the unknown. mostly its totally unfounded. you don't have to commit to some monumental change unless you desire to do so. so just commit to today. commit to a week. take life as it comes. enjoy EACH success even if by some preconceived notion its very small. you can do it. maybe it will be hard. maybe it will take a long time. I think that you will be empowered as you faithfully walk forward one day at a time. Don't expect you should be perfect. and don't ever think that a bad day is a life time failure. just start again tomorrow. this is a process of many starts for many people and that is perfectly acceptable. I think you can do far more than you think. :)

So for me, I don't like attention from men. This held me back from weight loss when I was younger. My fat was a layer of protection.

I probably should have worked through that, but now that I am 45, I don't think I need to worry about it too much anymore.

ha. My first suggestion is to change your name.

It's pretty demotivating to call yourself lazy every time you log on here.

I'm standing at the other end of the obstacle course so it looks very do-able to me. From your end it must look mighty scary.
