Do you wear a jumper, sweater, hoodie at the gym? Some article said its good to keep the muscles warm as you workout; is this done by people at the gym?

yes i keep my body warm with sweatpants, knee sleeves, hoodie etc. But once i am generating my own heat i will take off layers.0

When I'm cold yes. Layers come off as I warm up though.
And when I'm competing, I will pull on sweats and a sweatshirt between attempts to stay warm.0 -
God no. 15 min warm up has me pretty much sweating and hot then I'm dining out a t shirt by the time I'm done.0

Where do you put your clothes as they come off in a communal gym?

Do you use two towels and what size towels? I'm a gym virgin.0

I just wear whatever I'm gonna wear...I don't layer and drop clothes. I do a warm up to get everything going and I'm fine from there.0

No towels. Have some baby wipes to wipe myself down afterwards.0 -

I don't do cardio, so no need to wipe down cardio equipment (my coach considers my daily activity to be enough cardio for me). And the last time I wiped down a weight bench was umm the last time I was in a commercial gym. So over a year ago. Eh. If I trained in a commercial gym around strangers I'd do a lot more cleaning.0 -
Oh ok thanks Cupcakes, I go to a commercial gym0

I got face-towel sized towels at Costco. They're white cotton, so bleachable. Like $12 for a huge package of 10 or something.0
