Heya all.. Im suzy and i had my Son Kayden 13 months ago.. Been on different diets and nothing has worked.. i exercise regularly but dont seem to be shifting anything!! Does anyone know why i'm not shifting any pounds after being on this diet for a week? i seem to be putting on weight not losing it!!

    Cause your exercising, your putting on muscle not fat, so its heavier. Are you eating enough?
    Why do you need a diet? Why not just track stuff and stay within a healthy range.

    There is absolutely no way she has gained muscle within a week.

    If you've just started eating better and working out, you need to give it more time. You aren't going to see results after just one week. Make sure you are eating as little processed foods as possible and drinking TONS of water.

    You'll get lots of good recommendations if you open up your diary so people can see what type of "diet" you are having.

    Slow and steady. Watch portions, if you can buy a scale. Buy and cook healthy foods and try not to eat processed or fast foods. Try to get some type of exercise in a day. Even walking videos are good. And they have some 15 min. ones out there that won't take up a lot of time. It's hard with a new baby to find time for yourself but you can manage 15 min. a day.

    I was assuming she has been working out it for a wile, with the been on different diet bit. and the food diet was only for the week.

    After each of my 3 kids, it took a good year before I thought I had a shape (other than round) again! It will happen, you just have to be patient and consistent....

    I agree!! It will happen use this site to the fullest!! Logging really helps then you can see your food choices right up front!!!! Dieting has to be a way of life better choices and decisons when you are eating out, be you can do it , glad to have you as part of the MFP Family Welcome!!!:happy:

    Thank you everyone for your kind and supportive words.. I have been dieting numerous times throughout the year and this has opened a whole new door for me. I love changing my eating routines and actually looking at the things i am buying. The good thing is that my fella is on here now too!! we're doing it together as a couple.. :) x
