28-day Beginner Squat Challenge

I will begin this squat challenge on 3/14 and end on 4/10. If you'd like to join, let me know.

I've seen the Internet Squat Challenges going around and frankly, 250 squats in a day is just unreasonable and a recipe for failure. I read this article, reviewed the challenge and it made perfect sence!

    Alright team! Looking forward to hearing everyone's success! Remember to post your success!

    Day 1 starts 3/14. So here are the instructions for the 1st 7-days. Picture above shows how many squats each day!

    Counterbalance Box Squat:

    With your feet shoulder width apart, keep your chest up and arms out in front of you as a counterbalance.
    Sit back and down onto a surface, such as a chair or stool. Let your butt touch the surface, but don’t sit down.
    As you descend make sure your knees are tracking over your toes.
    Return to the starting position by pushing through your heels and squeezing your glutes.

    This looks a lot more realistic for me!! I normally make it to day 4 on the "common" 30-day challenge out there. I'd be glad to join!!

    Thank you for posting this! Today I did 100 counter balance air squats. Tomorrow I'll to 50 of those and 50 of the prisoner air squats. I didn't know they had those names.
