Or any tips that may have worked for you?? I just want to see faster results than what I am seeing now as far as the # on the scale. Right now I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week. That isnt working for me since I have another 35 to lose.

1-2 lbs per week is the recommended and healthy amount to lose weekly. You're doing great if you're getting those kind of results.0

First, losing more than 2 lbs a week, isn't very healthy. It shouldn't matter if it takes a month longer to reach your goal if you are healthy.
For good snacks high protein and low carb I would suggest: greek yogurt, string cheese, cottage cheese, trail mix, nuts, celery with peanut butter and eggs for starters. Good luck to you!0 -
Why isn't 1-2 enough for you?
Carbs are not your problem. Give yourself some time. You didn't become overweight overnight and it's not going to be overnight to lose the weight either.0 -
well, you want to focus on lean cuts of meat. Limit deli meats, hotdogs, sausage or stuff like that. Those types of meats are full of additives and sodium. What I have been doing is buying extra lean white ground turkey and using that as my protein servings. I usually max out my protein at eat 3 oz (100 cal under 3 g fat) at lunch. Normally I put low carb low sugar tomato soup or split pea soup on top. Or mix it in with a low carb sugar free maranara with a small amount of wheat noodles. you can also make a small burger with it. Always have chicken or lean cuts of beef ready to eat. I eat 1/2 cup of egg beaters every morning with my oatmeal or cheerios.0

are you strength training? You should start if you are doing this diet. it will build calorie burning muscles to help you get to your goal quicker.0

the greek yogurt and Fat free string cheese is good options..but you won't see the results you would if you stuck to lean cuts of meat. Meat has close to no carbs while dairy products contain sugars and lots of carbs. Nuts have protein, but they are considered a fat, not a protein, so they need to be limited to about an once a day (6 roasted non salted almonds for example).0

How low carb are you talking? If you are having a few servings of starch a day--like one or two with your three meals--I have been able to cut things down by using sandwich thins instead of bread and flatout wraps instead of tortillas. I will usually go for whole wheat pasta or brown rice when I can. Just a half cup of cooked rice or a cup of cooked pasta. This is a serving size but much smaller than we are used to.
If you are really stuck, I seriously recommend going to a nutritionist. So helpful in figuring out what your body needs!
You are doing great, though!!!!0
