You have to keep losing weight. One cannot spot reduce (such as an area like the belly). Keep losing by running a daily deficit. Eventually that dangerous visceral fat will start to melt away.

It's highly likely that it's the last place that will reduce. In order to loss it you will need to keep losing weight and body fat.

Yep! This is how it's gone for me. Lost enough weight everywhere except my belly.

Sounds like you are eating at a surplus if you are getting bigger muscles. You can't lose weight in the belly when eating at a surplus.

It is mostly your nutrition. I'm dealing with that as well. But cleaning up my foods have really helped me in that area. However, I still do a ton of abs workout. I do crunches, slow situps, planks, side crunches, leg lifts, you name it, I do it.

The choice of food does not affect where your body loses fat.

I'm eating a good amount of fruits and vegetables and low fat foods I try to snack on nuts during the day to keep me feeling full

Are you logging your food, accurately counting your calories (weighing your food, logging from the data base, using bar codes, etc...)? Do you even know if you are or are not in a calorie deficit (the only way one can lose weight)?
