Loose skin Remedies/treatments

Hey guys! I recently started on my weight loss journey and decided to try MFP, wow what a help! I was wondering if any of you guys had home remedies or tricks to battle loose skin, or tighten skin thats already loose in the first place. I had two children fairly close together and my second was a BIG baby! so I feel like im starting with a disadvantage there, His second birthday is next month and my belly skin is still pretty loose, Any suggestions are welcome!

    Sorry....its all genetics nothing will "tighten" sadly so save your money

    Yeah but no. Extra skin will just not magically disappear because you 'tone up' your abs. Even 10 pounds of muscle down there (HIGHLY unlikely, lol) will not fill up the skin that 30 pounds of fat used to take. Just not happening.

    I had huge babies too so I sympathize. There's a cream called Amlactin that has really helped the appearance of my belly skin (they sell it in Costco if you're a member)

    I love that lotion, I use it everywhere.

    You can also get ammonium lactate lotion (12%), which is the generic version of Amlactin. It is often behind the pharmacist's counter, you just need to ask for it (I call ahead as they often have to order it). It doesn't have a pretty smell, but it's much cheaper.

    I had 2 babies both over 9 pounds; my waist was 45 inches in both pregnancies. I have minimal loose skin. It's only really noticeable when I bend over.
    If the loose skin on your stomach is bigger than a pinch of skin from the back of your hand, then you still have fat to lose.

    Nonsense. There are bones right under the skin of my hand. I'm not a doctor, but I'm quite sure that there is no bone directly under my belly... so it makes no sense to compare the two.

    Also, my hand doesn't look like a shar pei... fat or not, lol.
