You don't have to confuse your body. I walk for work (a lot...) and when I go to the gym, 3 times a week, I stick to 20 minutes of the high intensity. It's down to mainly your daily intake of calories. The gym is good for conditioning and cardiac health. As for the pound? Your body can fluctuate, on any normal given day, roughly 5lbs. Easy. It's nothing to worry about if you're sticking to the calories MFP has given you.0

Not sure how long you been at this but relax, you sound like you are fine with what you are doing. You have to step back and look at the big pic. I also weigh almost everyday, i noticed yesterday and today I was up a pound, I look at my calendar and see the it's almost "that time of the month" So no worries. Nothing to panic about it happens, After my cycle, I'll be down two. If you keep doing everything right it will even itself out0

Eating at a deficit is all you need for weight loss, exercise for fitness goals.
Our fluctuates throughout the day and from day to day. If you weigh yourself every day, even consistently (as in at the same time every single day wearing the same amount of clothing), your weight is still always going to be different. One day you may gain a pound and then the next you lose only a half. If you're tracking it and the overall results are going in a downward trend then I wouldn't worry about it.

I think this sounds like a fine plan. It's natural for your body weight to fluctuate from day to day because weight is not just fat, bone and muscle. Things like water and waste also contribute to your weight and are very variable.
Weighing every day can drive you crazy if you can't ignore the ups and down. As long as there is an overall downward trend you are doing well.0 -
