Weight lost/gained this month: -2.7
Successes/struggles this week: This last week has been interesting. The scale has been showing 0.5 to 1 lb loss every morning, and I was beginning to worry. I changed the batteries, but it still showed me the same as with the old ones. I have been under calories and my activity level was up a great deal, but I didn't think the two were enough to have me dropping almost 3lbs in a week. I'm only up to 175 today because I had a heavy meal and quite a bit of sodium yesterday. I figure what happened is that I've basically started over. Since the holidays, my calories have been pretty close to maintenance. Now that they're where they should be and lower, I'm experiencing the whoosh. It feels nice seeing the scale move that much.
Oh, and hey, I met my goal. I won't get too optimistic, just drop it one more pound.0 -

Successes/struggles week 1: Struggles - I ate above my calorie allotment, didn't work out as much as I usually do, didn't drink enough water and my sleep wasn't very restful. I suppose the success this week was that my weight stayed even instead of going up.
Successes/struggles week 2: Struggles: I am not feeling motivated. I am eating even when I am not hungry. Successes: I have given up!0 -

Successes/struggles: Coming off of 10lb lost months it's hard to go back to creeping, but progress is progress and this weight is slowly but surely coming off. I'm not in a rush so I'm ok with that. Struggles this week have been bronchitis and TOM. hoping I see a bigger loss when mother nature leaves me. 2 weeks to go so a potential for 4 more lbs. Keep your head up we can do this!!0 -

Have been staying strictly in my allotted 1640 calories, and have exercised (mildly - due to plantar fasciitis) almost daily. This is the first time I've been 75 Kg in 10 years, so it was a goal I have been striving towards since I started in Jan...0 -

Successes/struggles this week: Barely any change this week even though I've been good. I've upped my calories and increased my exercise (eating the same deficit, just walking more) so I suspect that water weight may be playing a role! Either that or I'm just in the phase where I hover up and down over the same lb before a whoosh. Good ol' non linear weight loss, lol. I know I'm doing the right thing so I'm just going to trust the process.0 -

I'm hoping next week will be back to normal.
Also, my husband is setting up our extra room as a small work out room for me. I can't wait to use it.

Successes/struggles this week: I eat nuts/homemade trail mix to subside the my junk food cravings. I lost 2LBS so I feel that I am having some success with that. I also continued my success with staying within my calories for the day and exercising. My greatest struggle right now is getting enough rest during the week. I usually get around 5 hours during the week and I know it is hindering my progress a little.

So many great results, it's inspiring to see so many people actively perusing healthy goals and getting results.
Don't get down if you are not seeing the results you want or even if the scale went in the opposite direction. There are so many things to take into account, even something like water retention could reflect several pounds. I try to always do my measurements on Saturday morning before I eat or drink anything and if possible with an empty system (if you know what I mean!).
Also, remember that the closer that you get to the magic number i.e. your goal weight the slow those pounds will melt off. Additionally, if you are lifting you may be putting on muscle, which would possibly be reflective in a gain. So don't sweet it.
In addition to weighing myself, I also take measurements of the critical (to me) areas (i.e. Waistline, chest, hips, thighs, biceps and forearms, neck, and calves.). Armed with that knowledge I have seen weight gains while seeing my waistline measurement going down. That’s a sure sign to me of a muscle gain, when I take my other measurements I will usually find a gain in either my arms or legs.
Keep in mind that I have been able to lose weight while still combating injuries that keep me from doing almost all of the activities that I was doing or really like to do. I say that to say this, even if walking is all that you can do, you can still win the battle of the bulge with proper eating. Notice that I did not say dieting, diet is just die with a “t” at the end.
Just keep the faith, keep, strong, and keep true to yourself but most importantly be happy with yourself and love yourself. Just not in public. ;-P
With Much Respect,

Successes/struggles this week: My struggles will be dealing with a bad big toe and bum hip on my left, make running impossible, squatting and P/U's/Burpee's are almost impossible too. And I am dealing with a nagging sinus infection. But other than that I am fit as a cello!
I think a pound a week should be doable.
> UPDATE <
I forgot to account for soccer season starting which because I can not run at this time I mostly just stand there and coach. This will take me out of the gym three days a week or at least greatly reduce my W/O time. I may have to learn to get up at 0400 to get in a W/O before work. YIKES!
I am going to stick with my goal of 185 but it just got real up in here!
Good luck y'all!
> UPDATE 3/11<
My sinus infection is back which the biggest issue with that is it really zaps my energy.
> UPDATE 3/18<
Still rolling with a sinus infection, because that’s how I roll! Add coaching soccer three hours a week for 2.5 hours each session plus after work con-calls I haven’t had much gym time. So even a pound is huge for me this week.
Next week will be tricky, to add to the mix, tomorrow is the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade and there shall be copious amounts of dark heavy Irish beers being consumed.
But I am sure that I will at the very least not gain, or my name is not Bob!
