I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT IN SIX WEEKS! :(

ANY RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHAT I CAN DO TO LOSE WEIGHT IN SIX WEEKS? IM LOOKING INTO TRYING TO LOSE THE LEAST 12LBS... BUT I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT CAN HELP!! HELP PLZ!!

    I'm reading Jillian Michaels- Making the Cut right now. Check and see if your local library has it. It's got some good stuff...
  • 12 lbs in 6 weeks is do-able,that's 2 lbs a week, get moving and start logging your calories but be strict with yourself, no cheating otherwise it won't work, good luck

    That's realistic but you need to be very strict with yourself. Eat well, track what you eat, drink upwards of 64 oz. of water a day and exercise!!! Make sure you're eating at least 1200 net cals.

    Eat more lean protein and fiber to keep you full, less carbs, sugar and bad fats! Also, look into high intensity interval training. Good luck, YOU CAN DO IT!

    I just joined MFP a week and 2 days ago - I have lost 9 pounds. Drink a bunch of water, work out hard and stick to your calories. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

    write down everything

    load up on fruit and veggies

    avoid salty foods; avoid high sodium foods; avoid foods packaged foos with a lot of preservatives

    drink your water every day, every day, every day

    Slim in 6 (how ironic huh?) really worked for me :-)
  • First - TOTALLY doable goal! Cut out the processed foods this week - anything with white flour or sugar. Up your lean protein to replace those carbs, and try and workout at LEAST three days a week. It WILL come off! :) Good luck girl!

    You can totally do this!! Keep your calories at the 1200 mark, and be super strict with that.. drink lots of water, and exercise! If you aren't used to regular exercise, a brisk walk every day should cut it for ya. Good luck, and you can do it!!
