Back acne under sports bra

Okay, so I'm getting acne on my back between my shoulder blades from my racer back tanks and sports bras. I have something that I use on my face that has a high bensoyl peroxide percentage, I use that on my back too. I also always use a wash cloth or mesh shower puff and triple milled natural soaps. It’s disgusting, and I don’t work this hard at having a beautifully defined back just so I can cover it up. Any suggestions would be awesome.

How I wash my workout clothing
Hot water
Tea tree oil
"free" soap - dye free, scent free
Vinegar in the rinse cycle to soften clothing (don't use softener!)
Remove your workout clothing as soon as possible after you are done and shower. If you cannot have a full shower at least figure a way you can wash your back easily before redressing in clean dry street clothing. I have found this cleared up a lot of my bacne problems when I first started working out.
(also switching your washcloth frequently and giving your scrubbypooofs hot washes with vinegar will cut down transferred bacteria as well as other bacterias/molds from being wet/air drying)0 -

Thank you. I removed all fabric softners from my house 3 years ago, but I hadn't through to use vinegar. I always remove my workout clothes withing 20 minutes of completing exercise. I've tried "free" soaps and find that there is still an odor in my clothing, but maybe I'll seperate out my workout clothes and use the free soap and vinegar (can't vinegar all of our clothes, the hubs can't stand the smell of vinegar. What does the tea tree oil do? How much do you put in? Where do you buy enough to not have to run back to the store every week?0 -
You should be able to find tea tree oil (has anti-bacterial/fungal properties) in the "vitamin/supplement isle" at just about any pharmacy or health food store. It comes in a small bottle and usually (at least here in Ottawa I've found) runs about $10. You only need a couple of drops shaken into the wash so it'll last a long time. I find also that clothes when rinsed in vinegar don't keep a vinegary smell, so you can test it on yours and see if hubby can stand it
Also if you find that you just can't shake the stink out of workout clothing etc, try using some Borax in your wash. That kills the stink of anything. It was recommended to me when my son was a baby because I couldn't get the smell of vomit out of his clothes when he was sick. (it's also good for stinky manpit shirts :P)0
