Hello people of the world!
I've been trying to stay healthy and eat clean as much as I can lately but I've been running out of healthy, "good for you" snacks! Help?

Snacks for me are mostly fruits and vegetable based. But i do buy some bars from the store: Cascadian Farms has a chewy granola bars, i love them. And Health Valley Organic Multigrain Cereal Bars, Strawberry Cobbler. (They have apple and blueberry, too). I didn't really buy them 'cause they were organic, they just looked really good, and i've been addicted to them ever since.0

I credit a good snack to have a bit of all three macros for staying power (diabetic training). So that might be nuts, cheese and crackers, apple with nut butter, celery filled with laughing cow light cream cheese, or devilled eggs.0

What have you decided to no longer use as a snack? What is your idea of a snack?0

I dont know if its really healthy or not...but HUMMUS is my new favorite!0

String cheese, nuts, wasabi peas, fudge pops, cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs, hummus & veggies, protein bars, Greek yogurt, beef or turkey jerky, popcorn, apples & peanut butter, fruit0

Sliced red apples with cinnamon sprinkled on them...Tasty and lots of fiber, which I struggle to get enough of. Roasted chick peas have lots of flavour (spice to taste) and nutrients. If I'm out of calories to use for the day, cucumber with a lil salt and pepper or veggie and tzakziki dip.0

My 13-y-o just made some incredible molasses/ginger/lime cookies. I ate four of them. A delicious snack0

Dried fruits (the ones w/out the added extra sugar) are a good source. My favorite is dragon fruits something like this that you can find at at asian supermarkets

I still snack on these types of food & still lose weight. For me eliminating foods I like (temporarily) won't help me when I get to goal. I need to know how many chips are in a serving (whoa!.....way less than I thought).
But, yeah - fruits, veggies, seeds, hummus, Greek yogurt, cheese (but that's not on every "healthy" list). Hot air popcorn without any seasoning should be "clean."0
