I use plain Greek yogurt. At first, I added a spoonful of mayo, which made a huge difference. After some time, I stopped adding any and really don't notice the difference anymore. Plus, as someone above said, it look better in my logs.

I mix one can of very well-drained (this is key!) tuna with an egg, 1 tsp of sriracha seasoning and 1 tsp of dried dill weed. I let the flavors gel for about an hour (not sure if that's really a thing or if it's all in my head :) ) then I form 2 patties and cook them over medium heat. Sometimes I top them with a bit of greek yogurt and relish eat them on a sandwich thin and sometimes I just eat them plain. I only eat one per meal...the other warms up great for lunch the next day. They're just over 100 calories each (for the patty only) because I don't use oil or cooking spray in the pan at all.

Thanks for this idea. YUM I am trying this tomorrow. :-)

Alton Brown has pretty decent recipe for "Tuna Croquettes" which are basically tuna burgers. You can adjust the recipe to lower the sodium, and add whatever you want, but they're a delicious way to eat some tuna without mayo or tarter sauce.

I put the tuna on a bed of lettuce. I add two wedges of laughing cow cheese and chipotle sauce. I put it in my mouth, get some fuel, taste the macros and get on with my day.

I use mayo with tuna on a sandwich. If I don't want to do that then I put it in a salad.
I like the Starkist flavored tuna pouches. They have all kinds of flavors. Maybe those could inspire you.

I've tried with avocado. I've tried with hummus. A bit of lemon and olive oil? Yep. They're not bad but they're not exactly good, either. What are your favorite recipes for canned tuna without mayo?
Well, I use Miracle Whip Lite 20 cals per tablespoon, and maybe a little pickle relish or apples

I love one of the flavor packets that is lemon pepper with a little mozzarella cheese melted on top in the microwave or toaster. Very yummy when warm with gooey cheese, and adds some extra protein!

Plain greek yogurt with all the fixin's for tuna salad (chopped pickle, onion, celery and hard boiled egg). If I really want a "skinny" version, I'll feed the egg yolks to the dogs and just use the egg white.

Hubby's version is made with Veganaise (dairy & egg free) mayo since he's not a yogurt fan. I converted him from a lifetime of Miracle Whip. ;)

I'm a tuna snob. I love tuna, but I only eat solid white albacore packed in water (no salt, broth, or oil added). My grandma worked at Bumble Bee for 30 years, so I have insider information. :D

Not to be difficult, but have you considered switching to canned sardines instead? A lot more flavor and not dry like tuna is. No mayo needed. They often comes in lovely flavors, like smoked in olive oil and lemon. And you get a ton of omega 3 with them.

Try a salad dressing. Poppyseed dressing tastes good with it to me.

I put plain yogurt, diced dill pickle, a little pickle juice out of the jar, black pepper and dried dill weed. Sometimes I will put green onions instead of the pickle. I always buy the solid white tuna, it's just better.

Real men drink coffee black and eat tuna plain.

So does this real woman - the tuna, I mean. Coffee may or may not have half and half, but usually does.

This is awesome in my view and comes in a 'man ready' pop a top can. It works well with my macro.

I have no problem eating tuna straight out of the can with no mayo. However, my macros allow it, and solid white albacore is a lot harder to go down without it compared to the Chunk Light........and I prefer the albacore as it has half the sodium and 1/3 more protein.

If you're looking for that creaminess use cottage cheese or laughing cow cheese (mash it to cream it before adding tuna). I also add various chopped veg like onion, peppers - sweet or hot, cucumber, fresh spinach, pickles, etc. Add in some herbs.

Laughing Cow cheese: wonderful. Far better than Dairylea in my opinion. Even my hubby who wasn't really into things like this will eat them. In fact I will reach for the box in the fridge to find just one left. My favourite is the blue cheese one. Not overpowering at all.

I like to add a dollop of plain yogurt, a dash (or two) of curry powder, and some chopped green apple.

    I LOVE THIS ONE. budgetbytes.com/2012/10/tuna-white-bean-salad/

Budget Bytes is literally my favorite. Everything I've ever made using this site is super delicious and so easy. My husband makes this tuna salad at least once a week. Try it with the green onion. Delish.

I've always had tuna without mayo, and only learned people use mayo with it on the internet. Tuna, olive oil, capers, a diced tomato, a diced dill pickle, lemon juice, a pressed clove of garlic, dill weed and viola. If you like mayo you can make mock mayo with greek yogurt and vinegar. Not the real thing, but acceptable in a calorie pinch.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks tuna with mayo is unusual... I think it's one of those US things!

I love tuna/avocado sandwiches - Sirena chilli tuna, mashed up avocado, splash of lemon juice and black pepper. On grainy/seedy bread. Yum!

I have a can of tuna in my lunch salad with some zesty Italian dressing. The dressing & tuna work well together.
