I am a Nurse Assistant so ivambom the move most of the day and I'd like to be able to track calories burned during my work shift. I have looked at the FitBits but I can't afford those things! Please help and thank ypu!

Can I ask how much you want to pay for a tracker? I ask because I don't want to give you suggestions that would be out of your price range.0

Another good place to check is Amazon. I bought my Polar M400 watch, normally over $200 retail, for about $80 from the Amazon Warehouse deals. They're usually listed as used with minor cosmetic defects, but I haven't found a thing wrong with mine. Had it 2 months and it's still going strong!0

I got my Fitbit Flex for free from a friend who decided to upgrade to a Charge HR. Am about to buy his Charge HR when he gets his new Blaze. Maybe look into getting one used.
A friend of mine bought a cheaper version at Aldi that she liked well enough but missed out on the Challenges with friends that ,for me, are great motivation and worth the higher price.

I would recommend MI band version1. It just cost 12$ as worthy as fitbit. I calculates calories, sleeping patterns,steps0

I had a FitBit Flex and hated it. Tapping it all the time to see where I'm at during the day drove me nuts.
I need a tracker that has info on the screen. I bought a cheapo tracker from Walgreens and love it!!!0 -

I have one also. I really like it. I'm glad they fixed the smart alarm issue with the new app update, but still waiting for sleep to sync reliably again.0 -
I like the Fitbit zip. It's a clip rather than a wrist band.(My preference for accuracy) It tracks steps, distance, calories well, but not sleep or heart rate. It is much cheaper than fancier models and you still get to do challenges with friends.0

Fitbit Zip's are around $49 on Amazon. Price depends on color you want. The Zip only tracks steps. You clip it to your waist band or bra. I love it.
If you only want to track steps, it's perfect. The Fitbit app will tell you how many calories are burned and sync with MFP. It's an estimate but seems to be fairly accurate for me.0 -
Grr, I had typed out a reletively long reply and somehow it got deleted.
Fitbit zip is 59.95 and is pretty simple as far as devices go.

I just got my jawbone UP2 on Amazon for 49$, brand new, in the box & sealed. It's the older version, but basically the difference is the newer ones take HR, which I didn't feel I really needed. It's admittedly only been a day, but so far I LOVE it, & it's cute as hell. I researched a lot & bases my decision off of bad experiences with my Fitbit last year (kept breaking & even though Fitbit was great about replacing it, I got tired of doing it every 2 weeks) & also, reviews that jawbone customer service is great0

Just remember you get what you pay for. The cheaper activity trackers you can buy don't usually perform as well as some of the more expensive options. Vice versa sometimes too. Just make sure you read reviews on items before purchasing and look into a comparing website to see some stats that may be overlooked as well.0

Huh? Did I miss something? OP says $60 not £60.0 -

Since you're a Nurse Assistant, I would guess there's times you do a lot of walking while pushing carts, chairs, cots, etc. In that case, a tracker worn on the arm won't pick up your steps well (mine doesn't while pushing the cart at the store, for example).
So, something that clips to your trousers waist would be best. Misfit, Fitbit, and Jawbone make clip on activity trackers. Bonus, the clip on styles are the cheaper, non fancy options for these products.0 -

Ya, the FitBit Zip is a clip on tracker in the OP's price range. I have the FB One, a clip on which is a little more expensive. Not sure what the differences are. I love it.0 -
I'm loving my misfit flash, around $30 Canadian0

I got mine free through my husband's employer. Can't get more cheap than that. It's a Virgin Pulse Max and runs for about $25 through the site if you're not a member.0
