Carbs are very beneficial during a bulk as they stimiluate insulin which will stimulate the uptake of nutrients.

Eating in a surplus is the most important thing, do that every day for a sustained period before you worry about macros.

Any extra calories, from protein, carbs or fat can be stored at fat.

The trick is to eat a slight surplus while weight training to gain quality muscle weight and minimise the fat gain.

You probably need to gain some fat sweetie, we all need a certain level, women especially for hormones etc.

Fat accumulation will largely be determined by the rate at which you gain weight.

Faster weight gain = greater likelihood to gain fat.

I would definately advise slowly gaining. I didn't see the scales moving so kept upping my calories then all of a sudden they shot up, but mainly gained on stomach. Now Its killing me eating at a deficit to try and get back to lower %BF.

OP has an eating disorder, she isn't doing a bulk/cut cycle
