Spring break this week. My husband is off work today. My 13 yr old daughter woke up and went potty and while she was in there my husband and I decided to scare her. He hid in her bed under the covers and jumped out when she walked in her room. She got so scared she fell to the floor and started crying from being startled. OMG I felt sooo bad! He did too. She laughed afterward but we felt so bad. LOL It takes so much to scare her usually. Wasn't expecting that reaction.

I never intentionally scare anyone because there's always a possibility, that it could induce a fatal heart attack (even in a knowingly healthy person) or what's known as being "scared to death" & by law could result in those that caused the fatality, being charged with manslaughter/homicide.

I hate being scared, so I do not subject others to it. I would always cry when I was younger and someone startled me. Live and learn right, some can handle it, others cannot

There is nothing better to me than watching someone be pranked / scared. It's the best.

My son is 8 and places himself at random points throughout our apartment and waits for me to walk through ... he usually gets me once a day coming out of the bathroom, I am pretty easy to startle. Well, on more than one occasion he has jumped out of no where and scared me and he has gotten slapped or pushed (My reflex reaction to being scared, amazing, right?) and he takes it as a win for his day. He will then run through the apartment giggling and saying "I really scared you, Mom!"

    Evil. My kid is evil.

 RIGHT?!? If my kids don't get hit somehow, they take it a personal insult and a challenge to be more creative next time.

Back when my husband and I were dating, he was in the back yard playing badminton with a friend. I came up behind him and jabbed him in the ribs. By reflex, he flailed his arms, catching me in the teeth with his elbow. I needed a trip to the dentist to fix a chipped tooth.

Our pastor was just telling us a story on Sunday about when he was a kid and he and his buddy loved to set up trip wires in the house. They set one about 4 stairs up and then called his little brother to come downstairs. They heard footsteps and then a thud. It was his mom. She broke her leg when she caught the trip wire and fell down the stairs. Ooops.

I've scared my son a few times but he doesn't like it and usually cries. Funny because he has no problem scaring the poop out of me, but I do it back and suddenly he's in tears? Baby. LOL. We've started with the Nerf guns now - when my son and I hear the garage door, signalling daddy's home, we hide with the Nerf guns and attack when he walks in the door. Hilarious.

We scare each other often. Actually I've scared her a lot of times before and usually she doesn't scare at all. She was totally caught off guard. But yes, lesson learned to not go quite that far with it next time. :)
