Hey, so I'm loving my moms part vegan diet...(don't judge, she has to eat fish, but can't have any gluten or dairy)
Anyway, I've found some awesome substitutes, (veggie burgers, and earthbalance butter type stuff, yum) But I'm on the lookout for some kind of Miracle Whip, mayonnaise thing. It has to be dairy free and very low fat.

I've never had it, but a friend of mine across the state says she uses it in all her cold salads in place of mayo.0 -

Plamil and Mayola brands are egg-free. The Mayola one is tasty; haven't tried Plamil.0

I love vegenaise! Especially the Grapeseed oil one, as it's supposed to help with your cholesterol. I use it in place of all mayo now and I've never missed mayo.0 -
pretty sure you could find one made out of soft tofu. GL0

Hi! I somewhat tried a vegan diet for Lent earlier this year. I didn't try the vegenaise but I've seen it in the grocery store. Below is there website if you want to check it out

I also tried the Veggie Patch Chick'n Cutlets. They're 100% vegan and I thought they tasted pretty good. I still eat them once in a while.

Veganaise tastes just like mayo and there are different kinds to choose from. You can get it at health food stores like Better Heath Food.0

There's also Nayonaise- 35 cals, 3.5 grams of fat. Not sure if that's more or less than Vegenaise. But it tastes good and I've found it at most grocery stores.0

My favourite is Vegenaise, and they do make a reduced fat version: 45cal and 5g fat per 14g (1 tbsp?).
Here's the link: http://www.followyourheart.com/products/reducedfat-vegenaise/
You might also try Sour Supreme by Tofutti, which is "sour cream" but I really like it as a mayo replacement. It's a bit better than Vegenaise at 85cal and 5g fat per two tablespoons.

Thanks, I'm in Canada and our Loblaws has a couple varieties. Vegenaise was one, not sure of the others. Just wanted opinions, because on this gall bladder diet-we've had some epic fails.
Anyone with high cholesterol might consider it though. In two weeks her cholesterol dropped 11 pts. That's HUGE.0 -
I've been using hummus and it's great.0
