So...MFP has me set to 1260 calories a day. I eat close to or just shy of that. But there are days when I burn 800 calories in a workout. So it is telling me i still have 1,000 calories left to eat but I don't because I don't think I could. Am I not giving my body enough calories in??

You're not giving your body the proper nutrition it needs if you're only netting 460 calories...

TBH though, if you're not hungry after only netting about 500 calories, I think your logging is off.

But i don't feel weak or anything. If I feel hungry I have a snack. So....lol.

Could you please describe your workout that burns 800 calories?

Do you weigh and log EVERYTHING? I think you're consuming more than you think.

Lol at what? My point still stands. IMHO something doesn't add up. I don't think you're netting that low if you don't think you could eat more.

Is it the workout causing you to not feel hungry? I have that problem depending on what time of day I exercise and the type of exercise I do. It's like I get this huge burst of energy afterwards and food is the last thing on my mind and I have to remember to eat back some of the calories to give myself the proper nutrition. I do weigh and log everything so I'm pretty certain about my intake and I cut the calories MFP gives me back for workouts in half because I don't trust it.

And to answer your workout question. I walk six and a half km at a good pace. I have a heart rate monitor so it's pretty accurate.

What is the point of this post? Are you losing weight?

OP, just a cautionary note. 6.5 km walking is going to be closer to 300 kcal (net). 800 kcal seems like a big overestimate.

And yes, you are supposed to eat you exercise calories -- but this example illustrates why many people say to only eat a portion of those: the estimates are often way off.
