I amcurrently 154 pounds aiming for 170. I should be eating more than 2,700 daily calories but I find it kinda hard cause I can't eat that much ofa calories daily. I dont really wanna drink the massbuilder cause I'm scared about side effects.
My question is , what foods high in calories can I eat and are easy to eat, must be healthy foods otherwise it won't help my diet. Thank you everyone.

During my 'bulk' my calories came from Overnight soaked oats in full fat milk, Almonds, raisens, all easy to have a snacks. Also flaxseed (linseed), peanut butter and Nutella0

Have a homemade mass gainer first thing in the morning then just before bed.
1-2 cups whole fat milk
.5-1 cup oats
2-3tbsp gainzbutter
1 scoop of whey
2-3tbsp ground flax seed
1 banana
1 cup of spinach
There you have up to 1000 calories in one shake. No side effects, just pure nutritional value. It take 5 minute to make and would hit 1/3 of your daily calories.
(P.S. I wish I only had to eat 2700 to gain. I'm up to 3450 a day just for a .5lb gain a week.)0 -

+1 for this advice. For the longest time my body friggin refused to gain but I seemed to have some pretty good weight gains after I started drinking a shake before bed. And it was nowhere near as beast of a shake as this is above so I'd say give it a shot!0 -
When I was underweight and trying to pad myself out a bit, I used to make this amazing shake a couple of times a week:
300ml whole milk (202 cal)
30g vanilla protein powder (110 cal)
1 banana (100 cal)
2 tbsp peanut butter (190 cal at least, more so if you do big heaped spoonfuls).
So around 600 cals for one bedtime snack. Easy! It was absolutely delicious and I used to have one a couple of nights a week if I didn't fancy eating anything which felt more substantial and was a bit low on calories that day.
I also used to do things like add cheese to pasta dishes, stick avocado with absolutely anything, have a bit of bread and butter with meals, top my porridge with walnuts and dates etc. If you can find ways to add an extra 100-200 worth of calorie-dense food to each meal you can hit your goals without feeling as if you're always eating or are cramming vast amounts in at one sitting.0 -

As already mentioned, healthy high calorie shakes / smoothied are easy to make and even easier to consume since you're just drinking it . Try a shake made with banana or berries ( won't put measurments as you can tailor this to both your calorie needs and your taste), a green such as spinach, kale or cucumber, a nut butter or coconut oil or splash of olive oil or butter ( around 600 calories of my daily intake comes from peanut butter and I also eat raw nuts too !!) , some cocoa powder if you want it chocolatey or a plain protein powder ( pure whey or pea or soy etc without the sweeteners or flavourings or artifical added stuff - you can get them from Pulsin ), some flavour essence ( such as vanilla) , something to sweeten if you want it sweeter ( such as agave , honey or coconut palm sugar ), some oats or flaxseed or chia seed or pumpkin / sunflower seeds etc, some milk ( whole milk for extra calories) and some ice. You could also add avocado for some extra dense and healthy happy points and healthy fats !
I like to make chocolate puddings too by blending avocados, some cooked vegetables ( such as sweet potato, butternut squash, carrots, parsnips) or bananas, a tiny bit of honey, a good heap of cocoa powder and some vanilla or orange or peppermint extract. - blend and place in the fridge for a while and it tastes like a chocolate pudding or freeze for chocolate ice cream.
I assume you've also heard about banana ice cream where you freeze bananas and blend with something such as cocoa powder and broken up dark chocolate ( such as 80% + dark) or with tons of peanut butter.
Tips that have helped me are ; never drink a drink without calories ( opt for milks etc ) , always add a bit more fats where you can ( extra oil, butter, peanut butter , milk, cream etc are super dense and you'll barely feel the difference full-wise with twice the calories). Raw nuts are your friend and you can do little trail mixes to pick on throughout the day made with nuts, chocolate, granola or cereal, seeds, dried fruit.
Add cheese to savoury dishes where you can.
Cook with coconut milk ( very dense ) and you can also make sauces, ice creams and shakes with it.
Make healthy fudge with butter or nut butter, bananas , cocoa and coconut oil.
Eat full fat greek yoghurt with granola ( granola is dense so have twice the serving as aervings are small ! ).
Make muffins with plenty of flour, oats, eggs, whole milk, oil or butter, nuts and dried fruit ( there are many healthy dense muffin recipes if you google them ).
Make nut bars using nuts, oats, honey and butter and refrigerate.
Make vegetable packed stir fry's with plenty of rice or noodles and cooked in oil.
Eggs are small, high calorie and full of protein.
Oily fish are high calorie and full of omega-3 and protein.
Flapjacks can be super dense and healthy ! ( i eat ones around 400 cal each ).
Spreads are your friend - use triple or 6 times the serving size !
Lastly - dont be afraid of any nutrient when needing to gain - things that are easiest to eat are dense fats / carbs etc - and all i have listed are good healthy Sources. Hope this helped a little and good luck !!! X
