Hey everyone! I am fairly new here to MFP. I've been trying to lose weight over the last few years and have finally been successful these last few weeks. I'm doing the Power 90 workout and really enjoying it. Both my wife "RileyMama" and I have been doing it as a team and have seen some amazing results.

Is anyone else on Power 90 or P90X here?

Was about to transition from Phase 1-2 to 3-4 this weekend... Anyone done that recently?

Looking forward to getting to know you all...

Dave

Well I have Completed Insanity and P90X, and now I am doing the Hybrid of both for the next 90 days. I lost 55 lbs so far and counting so I am here to tell you, not like you don't know that it will work if you stick to it. I believe that all you have to do is Push Play and Bring it everyday. Just believe that it will work if you put in the work. If you put in the work it will give you amazing results, just believe. That is why I became an Independent Coach for the company, any questions let me know feel free to Friend me talk to you soon.

    Day 74 of P90X currently!
  • I did p90x for 3 months (the lean version) and I loved it! I was totally dedicated to it and never missed a workout, even on my "rest" day I did the stretches. I was able to lose 20 lbs and gain much endurance. I tried to start the program over again but the classic version instead. I couldn't do it! I had become bored with it. I picked up running, which I was never into. I also joined a gym and take spinning and yoga classes. I have continued to lose weight with running 2-3 miles at least 3-4 times a week, spinning class 1-2 times a week, and a yoga class once a week. If I can do an extra run on my lunch breaks then I add that in too.

Keep up the good work! P90X is a great way to start!!!

Awesome!!! I really love hearing about other people doing the same programs that I am doing. I'm about 30-45 days away from P90X so I'm really excited about that. Is there a forum here that discusses Power 90 and P90X?

    Thanks for the feedback all!!!

Hey Dave. I'm day 11 of Power90. It's taken me most of the first 11 days to get myself to keep up without stopping. I'm enjoying it very much and I want more !!!! I love just feeling better and having more endurance. I have a long way to go and hope to move up to P90X when my I'm ready. Feel free to add me.....

Hey man, I was there! I know what you mean. It was probably my third week before I started "owning" my workouts a bit more. I can really push myself on it now... Which is why I'm moving to Phase 3-4 next week. Glad you are feeling better and experiencing that endurance. Its the beginning of a journey that never ends... But you know what? That's exactly the way I wanted it. =) Keep me posted man! Add me too...

Hey Dave great to see that you love the programs, I would love to start a forum on the topic of P90X so that others would see the before and after pictures and get inspired as much as I have and would appear you have. I just chose to jump both feet into Insanity and then P90X before the Power 90 but I have heard it is a great stepping stone to P90X and alot of the same moves in the two programs. I love the programs so much that now I promote them and my coach is on the P90X infomercial that is very cool. So if you were to watch the infomercial at night she is on there. For me meeting her in person and now doing what she has done with the program is amazing and that is why I promote the lifestyle of BeachBody. It is not a for now kind of thing for me it is a lifestyle change and that is the way of life for me. Feel free to add me as a friend if you have any questions let me know.
