Hula Hoopoing

So I have been trying to find a new exercise and have come accross hula hooping. I watched a video on youtube where the class was using a hula hoop and doing aerobics. While I am not good enough to do that yet, I was wondering how well a basic hula hoop workout would work. I would like to hear what you think, whether you have tried it or not ;)
