I need some help gathering enough edible recipes to make it through South Beach Phase I. At first I was simply going to go old school with three meals of Meat, Vegetables, and a Side Salad. However, I know that if we make through two weeks like this, week three we'll swim in fruit and bread.
In short I need Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner ideas that are so great and amazing my family doesn't know they are missing simple carbohydrates and fruit.

Have you tried the recipes from the book?
How do you prepare the veg? I like to roast or grill them for the most part.
Personally, I have made meat and two veg my primary meal blueprint. It leaves room for chocolate most days.0 -
I did a google picture search... it all looks yum ;-)

That is going to be my blue print but I am looking for some interesting combos. Like for example, egg plant mini pizzas. or Jerked Chicken roasted with Brussels sprouts and Garlic Cauliflower mash.
Grill, Roast, Stir fry, or Steam. I Rarely boil vegetables.
@Sabine_Stroehm Thanks for the group recommendation. I really don't want to torture my family....just get us all back on the right track.

That's the delight of south beach! It's a healthy, and easy way to approach eating. Easy for one person to lose, and another maintain, while eating the same foods.DeniseB0711 wrote: »@concordancia;36008583
