Best day ever!0

We've been working out and I put him on a strict 1500 calorie a day but I am wondering if he should eat his exercise calories? Won't that make him fat?
Halp plz
This really depends....is your cat using the MFP method or TDEE? If using the MFP, he should most definitely eat them back...or at least most of them...if he's using the TDEE method, then no. Also, you might want to cut back on his processed carbs...0 -
Have you tried upping his calories a little? Maybe he's fallen into starvation mode.0

I have one cat who refuses to recognize she is overweight and should really get some exercise and another who is OBSESSED with cardio and circuit training. I cant make him stop even to go to bed some days. I wake up and his equipment is littering the bed because he was sleeping exercising. Make sure your cat doesn't overdue it, you dont want any injuries.0

My cat gets plenty of cardio due to playing all day and night, and only has a thin layer of chub, basically just for warmth. I didn't know that animals needed to worry about calories, to be honest.0

this...you need to go to spark cats...0 -
Is your cat's exercise chasing mice? If so, you need to include what kind of mouser your cat is - polite evidence eater, or mangled corpse gift giving jerk? Unfortunately the ones eating the mice have already eaten back part of their calories.0

How old is your cat and what is his height, weight and activity level?
Wait, is your cat even over 18? He shouldn't be using this site if he isn't. You should talk to his vet about an appropriate diet for his age.
Your cat is probably exaggerating his calorie burns. Is his fitbit synced with MFP?
He should eat only half of his exercise calories. He is probably not logging all his food accurately. Oh, you do that for him.
Really, your cat has to want to lose weight. If you are the one doing all the motivating, logging, food prep he just isn't ready. If he is a grown animal then back off.0 -
I recommend a 7-day juice cleanse for your cat.
He is probably sluggish and needs a jump start.
Just make sure he gets some calories so he doesnt go into starvation mode- or he wont lose any of that weight.0 -

After the 3rd day I'm not sure how much more juice I could get out of my cat.0 -
My cat logs licking himself, which I think is cool. However, some of the cats on his FL log sleeping, and I think that's wrong. Sleeping is in their activity level already. Should he say something or just let them fail on their own?0

Probably shouldn't say anything - don't want to get into a cat fight!0 -

Just tell him to eat back half the calories from "licking-steady pace"0 -

I used to give my cat beer. But last night we overdid it and she woke up with a hangover. I offered her a little 'hair of the dog..' and she said she wasn't into that. I am confused.0
