add me as a friend

I don't know how to add people. Can someone help me out?

    Options
    Go into friends tab. Tap on the plus + symbol top right hand and then go to the email tab and go ahead and put in the person's username/handle from my fitnesspal and send friend request. Google it and there is instructions also! Presto!!
