From the book "Hey, Remember Fat Glenda?" I can recall a couple of good ones....

"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!"

"A moment on the lips, forever on the hips!"

And, there are definitely days when I have need of the opposite message, to all those who are critical and hateful or worse yet, think they're somehow helping by doing so...."I'm not broken. Stop trying to fix me."

    "Fridge pickers wear bigger knickers".
I see it on my fridge everyday and it makes me smile..

Exercise, fit foods and meal planning are all good.
But changing my mindset is that which I should.
The hours are more that I spend in my head,
than the physical part of this journey I tread.
I can plan, and do, cook and eat,
but the steps of my mind are the the change I must see.
All of the other actions are outside of my heart.
Having faith to keep going is where it starts.
I have read and heard that consistency is key.
Another tool that comes from deep inside me.
So as I move forward to the goal I desire,
A change in attitude is what I require.
What do I believe about what's possible for me?
Do I know my worth? Is faith to be fit what is driving me?
The body needs fuel to carry on,
but the engine of my mind that drives it,
is where the race will be won.

"Eighty percent of success is showing up." ~ Woody Allen

-- or as an anonymous contributor on the MFP Community Boards noted in reference to taking (or making) time to get to the gym ........... "Sometimes you just have to show up. It takes care of itself when you get there."

If you want something you've never had, you have to do something you've never done. :)
