Hi all! I've lost somewhere around 15lbs-20lbs and am actively trying to change the way I look without losing any more. I am specifically looking to gain muscle and lower my bodyfat percentile.
I am 5'9" and 130lbs, and am probably around 22%-25% body fat. It's softer than I prefer, and my overall goal is to build a trim figure as opposed to lose much more weight. My goal is somewhere around 17%-18% body fat.

I'm in a similar situation with similar stats (OK, 10 more pounds). Probably aiming for around 20% body fat, then see where I go from there. Adding you both.0

yes! That was me about two years ago. I was a bit to "soft" than I wanted to be too. I lost about 10 lbs and lowered my BF%. I am 42 and feel great!
Congrats on your weight loss! There are a lot of people on here that can offer some really good advice. What worked for me was a combo of HIIT training and weight lifting.0 -
In theory that is me. I just need to push myself to get back to the gym more often. Just swamped with school. I know I make excuses, but I will live with the consequences.0

I'm 47, 5'2" & 116-117 lbs. around 19-20% BF. Been maintaining for about a month. Took measurements today and my hips were down .25" & bicep & calves up a little. I lift 5x/week (PHUL 4 days & glute day).0

Sounds like me. I'm down 40+ lbs since Turkey Day, started trying to "recomp" January-ish. Trying not to lose more weight, but I still seem to be dropping more than I'd like. I just finished C25K and I'm doing a YAYOG program for my recomp. Its slow but I think I see changes. I don't do the measurement thing, probably should but...

I'm 5'4" and 125 (down from 138). I started recomp about 3 weeks ago. This includes a heavy lifting program and eating at maintenance calories (still kind of figuring out what this number is for me.) My BF is around 23-24% right now. I'd like to get it down under 20%.
Please feel free to add! Love to meet people with similar goals.
ETA: Aside from my lifting program, other activity includes HIIT, yoga and a bit of cardio. Won't give any of those up, love them too much. But I've added heavy lifting and I am loving it.0 -
I'm very like some people on here although at 52 I'm probably older than most! Im down to 148 lbs after losing 72 lbs since June.
I have been exercising with light weights and have just started stronglifts 5x5 and love it although there was no way I was able to lift the weight I was supposed to. I had to just reduce it to what I could lift and start from there. I also do HIIT and walk. My goal is to build muscle esp my back and butt!

Haha we are already friends! But I'm in the exact same situation as you! 5'9", reached 130lbs, don't want to lose much more and want to focus on muscle. I don't want to look massive with a 6 pack but I want that elusive V abs! I came in at 25% bf this morning but I think that's up from my pizza binge this weekend. Also want to be in the 18% area. First goal is to get down to 20%!0
