Not that anyone cares to know that I've been thinking about crapping or anything BUT the reason that I have been is because I saw a commercial yesterday for Colon Flow and besides the fact that my 12-year-old self started giggling cause I thought the guy said Colon Blow, it made me wonder; is this true, all this colon cleansing talk or is it just hype?
I started to Google to see if I could get some "real" answers, but then I got bombarded by pages upon pages of places wanting to sell me stuff. I didnt want to buy it. I wanted some real facts about whether it's good for you, harmful or just plain useless. I mean dont all those high-end celebrities get their butt reamed out for thousands of dollars? :noway:

Colon blow. Hhahahhaha.
IDK if it's true or not. I always see on here that it's bull. I would be lying if I said I never thought about it. But I didn't want to do it to lose weight, I wanted to do it because I felt backed up. I found a recipe for a saltwater flush and I bought the stuff. I was too chicken to do it though.0 -

You rock girl! I love you!!
In the '90's when I dieted the "bad" way, I drank poop tea everyday and would eliminate ALOT! Did lose a bunch of weight but don't know if that is very healthy.0 -
Idk but crapping is no fun task anyway so wth would you but stuff to make you crap or pay someone to make you crap like celebs do? :noway: Uck! No thanks! I think that one's best left to mother nature!:blushing: :laugh:0

you said but(t) stuff0 -
Depends on what you want to do it for... I have done a couple of Cleanses.... Dr Natura Colonix by far is the best,... It is a long (30day) process... but does the trick.
I did it to clean out by body before eating better. Wanted a fresh start.. so to speak. I did lose some weight.. but wasnt the purpose. I felt lighter, and cleaner!
I am not a very regular person... even with healthy fiber in my diet. So every so often I will take a colonclense for a couple days... and it jumps starts it.0 -
Hahahahhaha!!!! pooping. giggle, giggle.
I bought some "quick weight loss" pills back in the day - I think that they were acai berry or something - MOTHER OF GOD!!!! Made me about poop my pants, took me a little while taking the pills to relate the 2 together (duh)....yea, NOT FUN!0 -
This is by far the greatest exchange I have ever read. This made my afternoon awesome. The comments, the Phil Hartman pic... man, you Peeps are ****ing funny...0

Save you money... just hit up the late night special at taco bell.... clean as a whistle $1.980

Haha, the first line of the original post took me totally off guard. I think I just love your "hey guys lets talk about poop whatevs" attitude.
Slightly off topic and maybe a bit of a hijack, but I have heard that colonic irrigation is supposed to be pretty good for your digestive system. If you can stand the embarrassment of someone shoving a pipe up your backside whilst commenting on your business as it floats down a tube, that is. Thoughts?0 -

Really, I think this whole topic crappie. It just seems to keep running. Although, as the Brits would say, you can squeeze some cheekiness out of it. But, I think most of the answers are kind of squishy. I am sorry you could not flush out any answers on Google. Their server may be a little backed up. I am feeling a little wiped after reading all the responses. But, just to throw my opinion into the bowl, it is not worth it!0

I read that those colon cleanses are for nothing...you need a certain amount of bacteria in your rectum, and a colon blow just wreaks havoc on your BM's...the celebrities get it because they're idiots. It doesn't actually do anything for you. If you were compacted you'd know. If you are having problems pooping, get a mild stool softener from the pharmacy. Or drink some beer...0

well, now everyone thinks i need help sh*tting LOL
and now im thinking about the other commercial
"i see youre top of your gas"
"excuse me, your son, rip, is on line toot"

Embarrassment? I would pay extra for the video, double if William Shatner would do the narration. :laugh:0 -
I have no doubt that William Shatner would be the kind of person that would love to talk about his own ****. I mean, it's in his name and everything.0

OK. All joking aside. I have IBS. No. It is not funny. Stop laughing. At one point, I was going 15 times a day. I wanted to die. Then I eliminated coffee. Duh. Anyway, after years of eliminating foods and trying this and that, I found that adding GROUND psyllium fibre to my diet regulates every kind of digestion problem I could possibly have. Everything from constipation to diarrhea. It takes the waste, gently scrapes it from the walls of the intestines [thus cleaning it], gels it [which prevents diarrhea] and makes it soft but formed [fixes constipation]. It's my poop regulator. Yes, I said poop. Tee hee and all that. I take a heaping tablespoon every single day with a scoop of whey protein powder, add COLD water, mix and drink it quickly [it turns to glop if you turn around and do something else]. It has 'cured' my IBS. If I miss even a day, I regret it. So....go buy some. It's cheap. I did use a product called Colonix for a number of years and it is slightly superior to ground psyllium, but it is 6 times the price.
