Today I am starving and have a headache (not dehydrated) it is a migraine.
When I have them I want carbs, carbs, carbs.

Help me stay on track today!

    Poor you :flowerforyou:

I try to do SOME exercise because it always boosts my mood and in some cases really does get rid of any headaches! How about a nice, warm, nourishing soup to make you feel better?

    Try to be strong

I usually give in...in moderation. Maybe something like a 1/2 of a peanut butter sandwich, so you're getting some carbs to satisfy the craving and a little bit of energy to maybe combat the migraine?

Exercising really makes me feel better, Rainy Cold days are my hardest, such as today!! :) But working out always takes my mind off it.

You shouldn't be starving! Are you eating all of your calories? If not try eating your calories and eating a little more often... that helps me. If I am eating often I tend to make better choices (all meals and snacks are planned out)

The best thing to do is rest and sleep off the cravings and exercise does really work to cure most illnesses so try a jog or a long walk when you start to feel a bit better.

I use to get massive headaches all of the time, like pull over the side of the road, throw up, have to be picked up, can't drive home, too dizzy, sleep for days headaches........I thought carbs were the only thing that would help because they always seemed to have an instant effect.

until- I way upped my protein.. and pretty much cut out all carbs and now...wa la! No more headaches what so ever! :) just a thought

You know what they say, sweat that fever out!

I usually go for a short run, helps when I have a headache.

Id allow yourself something which makes you feel good and try to keep within your calories. When I'm feeling awful I may order a takeaway as a one off but I'd still go for healthier options like boiled rice and chicken and vegetables from the Chinese. That way I don't have to cook, I feel like I'm really treating myself but there's no guilt.

I am. I plan all my food out the day before and log it.
I so far have had all my snacks for before and after lunch.
    Can't wait for lunch, lol.
I think because I am feeling like poo that my body thinks eating will help.

try mints and gum, I find that peppermints help my stomach with migraines because I get extremely sick, and soup is always good and beside the sodium it's pretty healthy -

I try to think of how much I'm gonna kick myself in the butt for it if i do. I didn't feel good yesterday, nor do i today, but i'm determined to stick to it.

Calories are amazing 3500 equals 1 pound of fat. So if you give in a little today you are not going to gain pounds over night. Just be picky about it, if you really want it eat it. Allow today be a relax day if you don't feel good. You can still lose weight this week.

Take some ibuprofen to take the edge off the headache and go get some sleep. I have chronic migraines and exercising and eating sugar always makes it worse for me.

Keep coming to the site for support. I drink water and come and read forums. It works and restores the ambition.

What helps me get rid of my headaches sometimes is just simply making love to my husband. Seriously, it gets the blood flowing and my mind off of the pain and I burn calories.....what could me better....lol
It doesnt always depending on how intense the migraine is but it usually helps...:)

I treat myself to something high quality, and healthy. Sashimi is a good one. It tastes and feels like a treat without the guilt.

I wish a nap! I am at work.
I gave into what I wanted to eat but I only ate half.

Took my meds and am drinking a ton. I ate some crap but I don't feel bad about it.

I feel better now and will just work out twice as long tonight.

Coming here has been amazing! Thanks!
