Ladies! Has anyone tried the "New Rules of Lifting for Women" program?

I've had the book for a year but didn't actually get around to reading it until now. I'm going to start with Phase 1 on Monday and am excited to see the kind of gains in strength/muscle I get, as well as the potential fat loss it might help bring on.

Has anyone else tried the program? Thoughts, good or bad? Would love to hear your perspective on it!

I read the book. Nice read, good info. The program is not for me. It's good though.

Ha! You're right. I changed the thread title

What kind of plan are you doing now?

I do an Upper/Lower split-a hybrid of power lifting and hypertrophy training. The reason I didn't want to do NROL4W was because there wasn't the level of power lifting I enjoy, and there was a lot of "fluff"/isolation work that I just don't find beneficial for me in a deficit or fat loss mode.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'm definitely new(er) to lifting, though I've been doing it on my own for about 3 months without a specific program, so I figured following something like this would be a good place to start. Who knows, maybe I'll make it to your level someday :D
