How often do you weigh in?

I'm used to weighing myself every Sunday morning after before breakfast and after showering usually.

I weigh myself every morning when I wake up, and then average on Sunday. Weight fluctuates so heavily everyday depending upon different factors, so I feel it's most accurate for me.
It doesn't work for everyone though- if they get down about the numbers, it probably won't motivate and more so discourage.2 -
Every morning? Why. Once a week for me and I dread it! Also find I loose or gain inches too1

I weigh myself daily and was only recording losses for a while. I've started logging it daily simply because I want to get a better idea of my trends and how certain foods or activities effect my weight. It was actually fun this weekend to see it go up after a night out and then right back down again the next day.0

Every Morning after a shower. Some days I fluctuate others I may drop a couple of ounces. It's interesting to see the progress whether its up or down.0

Often several times a day. I'm fascinated to see how the fluctuations work. It's just a number, nothing to be scared of. I know that only the weekly trend is particularly memorable, and I keep track of that on the monthly weight-loss challenge forums.0

My last weigh in I lost 4lb in a week. Huge loss as I hadn't really tried.... With little exercise as I've got a back injury at the moment. Be interesting with this Sundays weigh in. Def lost it off my cup size, which I'm not happy about lol x0

I weigh daily and log it in the Happy Scale app.
I update my MFP weight when I have reached a weight or lower on two weigh in days.0 -

Although after reading through this thread I'm thinking of maybe weighing in more often. For those of you who weigh in daily do you also record your weight daily on MFP?0 -
I gave away my scale years ago, so I only weigh myself at the gym, after coffee and breakfast. My pants are more of an indicator of my progress. I don't log all of my weigh ins, and if I suddenly go down a few pounds, I wait til the next gym visit to 'verify' and then log it. Years ago I had a very bad relationship with the scale and was constantly weighing myself. Now it's better, but I see no need to buy one.1

I step on my scale daily. It helps me keep little things in check. I officially weigh every week or two using the body composition analysis machine at complete nutrition. This is what I use to update and track.0

Certainly been here too,.. Awful relationship with sizes and weight in my past. I also find different scales weigh different. X0 -

I just started recording daily about a week ago. I just feel like I want the additional information but you have to do what works for you.0 -

having used this website for 3 years and maintaining my 5 stone weight loss,up and down a few pounds but no more, i,ve found once a fortnight is enough. daily can become frustating and weekly can fluctuate because of socialising at weekend. saturday morning before breakfast seems to be my best time .hope this helps0

I weigh every morning and record it, but I will sometimes step on during the day because like @WendyLaubach I'm curious about weight fluctuations. I can also predict one day ahead when my TOTM comes because my weight inexplicably goes up by 1 lbs (well it is explicable in hindsight). I figure whatever makes people happy and healthy works best for them!0

Almost daily, first thing in the morning. But part of that is accepting that it will certainly go both up and down and that I have to accept it and just watch for the overall trend. I track in MFP every time I weigh. I geek out on numbers, and as others have mentioned it is fantastic watching it move in relation to how tightly I've kept to my macros and workout routine. When I'm doing what I'm supposed to do, it stays on an overall down trend without fail.0

When I was losing, I weighed once a week. Now that I'm maintaining, I weigh everyday. I only weighed once per week while losing because the body does fluctuate. Sometimes, the scale would depress me. Sometimes, it would go up when I thought it shouldn't have, and that would discourage me. Early on in my weight loss journey, this would derail me progress because I would sabotage myself. I mean it wasn't working anyway, right? Might as well eat this donut.
So, I began to just weigh once a week at the same time. That gave me a clearer picture of my progress. Now that I have reached goal, I weigh daily, so that I am always aware of what I am doing. It is sooo easy to fool yourself into thinking you have arrived once you are at the maintenance stage. We think because we have reached goal that we deserve to eat what we want. That's true, but with great moderation. So, when I do eat foolishly, I need to immediately see what damage I've done, so that I will not gain. It is a struggle, but weighing everyday keeps me honest.0 -

I weigh in every other day, I even follow the same ritual on weigh in days. This way it feels like I am getting a fairly accurate data on my weight.
I have heard that to be successful long term with weight loss you need accountability and almost obsessive tracking.0 -
I just recently heard of trendweight.com and so far it's been the thing that most helps me have a healthy relationship with my scale. I record my morning weight every day and the app calculates a trend. So when, for example, I suddenly gained 7 pounds one day, it still reported that I was loosing at a rate of 1.3 lb per week and reported that my weight had increased by less than a pound.
Before that, I weighed in rarely, and so if I caught myself on a heavy day, I'd get really bummed.
