I started Insanity in Monday. Anyone else start recently. We can make this a support system and accountability

A little sore/tight muscles but not too bad. Feel fitter already!

I tried it last month, and was so sore the next few days, it turned me off :-/
I'm thinking I'll start again when I have a little more core strength built up so I can at least move afterwards (I've got a baby to look after so I have to think of him...haha)

I do insanity. I've done the program before and lost 25 pounds. I just started back about 2 weeks ago. The first week I'm always really sore but it goes away. Good luck on your journey!

    How r u feeling???

I workout in the evenings, so when I woke up this morning I felt like I got ran over by a bus lol. I seem to be doing better now though. Except for my calves which seem to be in the most pain. They've been extremely tight since I have started regardless of how much I stretch or how much water I drink.

How are you feeling your first couple of days? Are you able to do the whole workout?

I haven't started insanity but I am doing something similar-for the soreness=bananas! I too was sore for three days when I started high intensity stuff. My biggest issue is not enough breathe to do those burpee type things. I am fine going standing to plank but getting back up, jump then back down, do a pushup. this is hard.

I usually follow a workout on youtube-with HIIT or other keyword-and I use weights in almost all exercises even if its 2lbs hand weights. I am curious to see how I feel in a week. I started working out like this about 6 weeks ago. Took a week off fighting a cold but jumped right back in. Hope everyone does better as far as soreness.

@cardertaxidermy hello! I'm just starting another round. Did it last year, loved it and got great results.

Fit test yesterday and about to start Plyo cardio circuit...not sure what's worse, ignorance about what's ahead or full knowledge of the challenge!

I know what you mean @Lorraine128. Sometimes it seems better to go in blind LOL. I do Plyometric tomorrow morning. I actually really like that one even thought I can't do it all the way thru without taking extra breaks.

Pylometric cardio circuit done for this morning. I hope one day I can do these workouts without having to take so many breaks. If I feel like I can't do a certain exercise any longer I at least tried to jog in place instead, to keep heart rate up.

@cardertaxidermy don't worry. It's just the first week. I can't keep up yet either. Just do what you can do, you'll be amazed at how much your stamina and speed improves after a couple of weeks. Lorraine X

I am in week 4 and was plyometric cardio circuiting at 6am EST this morning. Next week is recovery week before month2. ( 60 min workouts. Ughhh). I noticed this morning i can hang now during level 1 drills and in-and-out abs. Tomorrow morning is pure cardio and cardio abs

However I am running a 5K Saturday morning also.

I used to alternate Insanity Days with P90x days and had great results. Insanity is a great cardio burn. I had been doing that awhile then switched to Crossfit just for some variety, but I still really like the Insanity program.
