I am trying to quit sugar! Hopefully logging my food will keep me accountable.

If I have to write it down it will definitely help!

It will!! I had gained a lot of weight around my middle and started to think it was probably sugar causing it. I thought I didn't eat very many sweets or drink too much beer, but once I started to log things - you notice it adds up quick. Good news is, I've been on MFP for about a year and I have dramatically reduced my sugar intake in every form and have a much flatter belly!! Also, now even when I eat certain fruits I cringe from the sweetness. It's crazy how fast you get used to being without it. Good luck!!0

I hated the thought of it so can't believe i'm saying it to someone else.. but the best way I could've done it is to go completely cold turkey and cut it out altogether. The first couple of weeks can be hell (depending) but then the majority of people barely ever get a sugar craving after that! Works if you think you're up to it!!0
