Don't start a diet until you've done your research. The kind if foods you want to avoid depends on how low carb you want to go.

Why do low carb if you can't easily manage it? Your diet should be one you can maintain easily for life. No need to drop or severely limit a food category.

Pretty well everything has some carbs. I would start by being mindful of sugars, even in fruit. For wraps, Flatout makes some called Protein Up that are great. I've made pizza and nachos with them as well.

    Don't fear carbs too much.
Some are good: lentils, barley, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, beans.

back then when I was on a low carb diet, I would avoid rice, pasta, potatoes, pizza but I would still eat whole wheat cereals and bread.

Personally didn't enjoy the low carb diet... not being able to eat carb made me depressed, literally LOL
Now I usually have 40-50% carb

It depends on what your definition of low carb is or what program you are trying to follow, as there are many.

FYI - Most low carbers hang out in the low carb group. Check it out. It is very informative and supportive.

For me I find low carb to be really easy. I am often out and about. So I eat on the street a lot. Just about any restaurant will low carb their burgers/sandwiches. I don't follow any specific plan. I just try to avoid breads, rice, potatoes and sugars. In the last 4 months I've lost 45 pounds. I don't really exercise until recently I added more walking because my weight loss was slowing down. Remember there are always good substitutes for what you eat in your everyday life.

    Sugars, starches.

To add, if you follow low carb, you should be eating high fat. So avocado, nuts, creams, butter, hard cheese, low sugar veggies/greens, fish, eggs, etc..

But honestly, you should know how to implement the plan correctly being doing it. And keep in mind, that even if you follow low carb, you still need a deficit to lose weight.
