I'm a size 13 in juniors... does that means i'm a 12 or an 14 in misses?

Do anyone know how to convert odd to even numbers?

Thank you so much!... So every odd number is converted to an even by going one number lower?

You would have to try them on. Every designer cuts them different. If you are buying online I would make sure you can return them and go a size down. If you are a 13 in jr. it's a 12 in misses.

Junior sizes tend to be cut with smaller hips. You just have to check the brand's sizing charts to figure it out and then it's still a guessing game. Good luck!

I wear a size 6 in misses but my body shape just does not fit in juniors sizes. They look awkward on me and feel awkard on me...and I can't even fit into a size 9 comfortably (it feels tight in weird places). The cut is just different. Most people can't go back and forth with odd and even sizes, their body shape lends to one or the other. I.e., most moms will wear even sizes. It was after I had my daughter that I switched from odd to even sizes.

I agree that you should start with a size 12 and see how that fits if you are wanting a particular pair/brand of pants.

Here are a junior and misses size charts (to compare). I own some dresses that are size 11 in Juniors and I'm a 10 in misses.

Keep in mind some brands have their own sizing charts, so if you're a 12 in one brand, you might be a 10 or a 14 in another. Women's clothes are very confusing.
