Has anyone taken Mutant mass? (1000kcal shake). Tempted to take them for 1 month, to try and add some additional size, before a 3 month cut.

Unsure on my body fat percentage, but roughly around 15%.

Would like any general feedback regarding mutant mass please!

I'm really unsure how long it will take to cut from 15% to show abs?

If youre 15% some ab definition should definitely be visible so i guess youre measurement is off. Also, dont waste money on mass gainers. Make your own shakes with whey protein, oats, peanutbutter, full fat milk, berries, full dat yoghurt and whatever else easy calories

Agreed with larsminnaar. Look at this link with male bodyfat %. At ~15%, you should start seeing abs (maybe more pronounced post workout / with good lighting). If you cannot, either you have a higher bodyfat% or not enough abs muscles.

It's good that you want to bulk to build muscles, then cut to reveal. Just be sure to be doing good ab work 2-3 times a week during both the bulk and cut. It depends on how far you take the cut to show your abs.

Don't waste money on a mass gainer, just eat +250 to +500 calories over your TDEE during your bulk. If you need a shake, I used to make one with whole fat milk, protein powder, a banana, and if I need extra calories, I add some almond butter and olive oil (1tbsp = 120 calories!). Easily ~600 calories or more depending how much you put in. You can find other good recipes online.

I can see my abs, they're just not great! Definitely visible though.

I think I will look into making my own shakes, as you suggest. I'll try making one tomorrow and see how many calories I can get into it!

    Thanks!

15% seeing abs..... Maybe, if you have the eyes of a hawk. I wouldn't even consider bulking until I was well under 8-9%. Compounding fat on top of fat is a recipe for a very long and difficult cut.

I measured my body fat and it turns out I'm actually 10.33%.

If you are actually 10% then thats a good place to start a bulk. Dont buy mass gainers. Most are just full of sugar. You can make your own shakes and they can be WAY more tasty and you can get better nutrients in them.
