I was wondering what you think would be an acceptable post work out meal after doing some High Intense Interval Training (aka HIIT). My goal is to lose some body fat and gain some muscleWould a whey protein shake be enough? What do you think? Any suggestions greatly appreciated

You can't do both efficiently. It depends on your goals. Just hit your daily macro minimums. Eat what you like after workouts. Anabolic window has been disproven but if you're hungry and want to gain muscle, eat surplus of calories and vice versa!0

Timing not important. Eat when you are hungry.0

The way my meals are setup i do end up having a "post workout" snack though. I normally do mixed nuts and fruit.

You can't build muscle while at a caloric deficit unless your a complete noobie sorry to be the bringer of bad news but its the truth anyways post workout be sure to get your protein in because that's when your body will have a window of opportunity maybe its just bro science but I always go by it
