I love mexican food and i find it extremly satisfying! However that being said, mexican food sometimes tends to be on the high calories side. Anyone have any ideas into making delicious mexican food in a healthier way?

    Enchiladas, tacos, tortas, mexican prepared corn ( mayo, cheese, cayenne pepper) for some of these dishes i restrain to one actual tortilla and no more and try to take off as much sour cream or mayo i can do. I also like tamales but wamt to know a healthier way to make them for the holidays since those are tripy times to gain weight from all the excess eating

    for the tortilla situation i refuse to give up lol, i started to look at whole grain tortillas the same goes for tortas look for whole grains and go for moderation, i know its hard lol but if you want to get there we have to sacrifices i hope this helps http://healthyeating.sfgate.com/kind-tortillas-healthiest-11186.html

    Actually i do a lot of running. To be exact i run many 5k and 10k and half marathons ☺

    well then do what i do any extra carbs i take in from the awesome food is considered carb loading in my book :p

    All the good Mexican dishes yummy. But i had to just stop thinking about it if I want my body to be fit. You need to sacrifice some food in order to get results like he said.

    The best answer i can think off is just keep running and just kind of gradually easy myself out of eating these foods on a weekly basis until i can abstain from mexican food without kver indulging
